LiteAIO (“we”, “the service”) runs liteaio.com: a hosted setup for the LiteAIO addon in Stremio and Nuvio, and the LiteAIO TV app for Android TV. This policy covers both.
What we store
- Your account: username, a hashed password, an optional email address, sign-in sessions and when you last signed in.
- Your setup: catalogs, scrapers, posters, filters, subtitles and other settings, and your profiles (names, colours and avatars) with their own settings.
- Keys and logins you add: debrid, MDBList, RPDB, TMDB and scraper credentials, IPTV playlists and logins, guide (EPG) sources, and MyAnimeList sign-in tokens. These are encrypted at rest and used only to reach those services for you.
- LiteAIO TV: the TVs you pair (device name and when each was last used) and the settings you sync between them. For each profile: where you stopped in movies and episodes (Continue Watching), your My List, recently watched live channels and how often you watch each channel (so the app can sort them), and any debrid downloads you start from the TV. This is what powers resume and those lists; you can remove items from Continue Watching and My List at any time.
- Live TV rewind: while you watch a live channel with rewind on, the server keeps a rolling recording of that channel, up to about 20 minutes, so you can pause and go back. Older parts are deleted continuously.
- Usage counts: daily totals of stream, catalog and Live TV requests, used for plan limits and running the service.
- Billing: your plan, trial and offer dates, and your Whop membership ID if you subscribe. Card details are handled by Whop; we never see or store them.
- Page counts: we count how many times each page was opened each day, and which site linked to it. These are totals only — no visitor id, no IP address, no cookie, and nothing that can be traced back to you or your device. We count this ourselves; no analytics company is involved.
- How you found us: if the link you followed carried campaign tags (
utm_sourceand friends) or a referral code, or you came from another site, we store those tags, that site’s name, and the page you landed on, once, when you create your account. It is a channel name, not a profile of you, and it tells us which places are worth posting in. Nothing is shared with the site you came from. - Email records: which opt-in announcements you were sent, so nobody receives the same one twice.
Stays on your TV. Jellyfin and Plex server addresses and logins, your USB and local library, and the app’s HTTP/SOCKS proxy settings are kept on the TV and never sent to LiteAIO. Library playback goes directly over your home network, not through our servers.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t run advertising or analytics trackers on the site or in the app.
- We aren’t an IPTV provider and don’t supply channels, playlists or other content.
- Your addon install URL is a random token. Your keys are never placed in the link itself.
Who else sees data
- Our hosting provider runs the servers the service and its database live on.
- Whop handles checkout and subscriptions. If a subscriber claims a free month, we ask Whop to move their next charge back.
- Resend delivers our email.
- Services you connect: debrid services, scrapers such as Torrentio and Comet, MDBList, TMDB, RPDB, Fanart.tv (title logos), IPTV providers and guide sources, and MyAnimeList. We send them what’s needed to answer a request, such as a title ID and the key you provided, and their own privacy policies apply.
Adding an email address is optional. With one on file, we can send password resets. Everything else is opt-in:
- Product updates: new features and service notices, only if you turn them on. Every update email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Billing changes: trial, plan and payment notices, only if you turn them on.
Change these or remove your email at any time under Dashboard → Account → Email notifications.
Trials and offers
The free Premium trial and promotional offers, such as a free month, are limited to one per account. We record when each started and ended so that limit can be enforced.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account from Dashboard → Account (password and confirmation required). That removes your account and everything listed above: sessions and paired TVs, your setup and profiles, keys and logins, IPTV and guide sources, watch progress and lists, TV settings, downloads you queued, usage counts, and offer and email records. Install URLs and paired TVs stop working immediately.
The server keeps a short rotation of database backups (the most recent 14), so a copy can remain until it rotates out. Whop keeps its own billing records under its policies. Data stored on a TV stays there until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
Children
LiteAIO is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. For younger viewers in a household, parents can turn on Kids Mode and, with Premium, give them their own profile.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date above, and meaningful changes are noted in the changelog.
